The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
