The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 has taught the Koran. 2 has created man, 3 and taught him its pronunciation. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees do prostrate (to Him). 6 And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance. 7 so that you would maintain justice. 8 Always measure with justice and do not give short measure. 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 and He created the jinns from a flame of fire. 15 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Pearls and corals come forth from both of them. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25
