Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
