We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
