Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ha'. Mim. 1 This Book is revealed from God, the Majestic and All-wise. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth are signs unto the believers. 3 And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]. 4 and in the alternation of the night and day, in the provision Allah sends down from heaven with which the earth is revived after its death, and in the changing about of the winds, there are signs for people who understand. 5 Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? 6 Woe to every sinful liar, 7 He hears the revelations of God which are recited to him, then persists in his arrogance as if he had not even heard them. Tell him that he will suffer a painful torment. 8 And when he comes to know about any of the verses, he mocks at it; for them is a disgraceful punishment. 9 Hell is behind them. Their worldly earnings shall not avail them, nor those whom they took as protectors instead of Allah. An awesome chastisement lies in store for them. 10 This (Qur'an) is the true guidance. Those who deny the Signs of their Lord shall suffer the torment of a woeful scourge. 11
