Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
