We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
