So I swear by what you see 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
