The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
