The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed, 2 and by those that speedily glide along (the cosmos), 3 and vie with the others (in carrying out their Lord's behests); 4 And those who govern the event, 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state? 10 even after we have turned into decayed bones?" 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 And say to him, "Would you like to reform yourself? 18 [If so,] then I shall guide thee towards [a cognition of] thy Sustainer, so that [henceforth] thou wilt stand in awe [of Him].'" 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter. 25 Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. 26

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
