Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
