Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8
