The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
