And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
