The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers), 1 By the meteors rushing, 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 to be followed by further [convulsions]! 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 that I might guide you to your Lord, so that you fear (Him)." 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 and gathered his people together 23 And then said, “I am your most supreme lord.” 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
