The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
