▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
