Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
