With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
