1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 Indeed, today they are surrendering themselves completely.” 26 And they will turn to one another, and question one another. 27 Some [of them] will say: "Behold, you were wont to approach us [deceptively] from the right!" 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 Even so We do with the sinners; 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 and said: 'Are we to renounce our gods for the sake of a mad poet' 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 fruits -- and they high-honoured 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 Said one of the speakers: "I had a friend 51 'Do you believe in the Day of Judgment? 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die 58 except our first death, and shall we not be punished' 59 Verily this! that is the supreme achievement. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this better or the tree of Zaqqum 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, 65 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
