The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
