The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 And those who race each other in a race 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called to him in the holy valley, Towa: 16 saying, "Go to the Pharaoh. He has transgressed beyond all bounds. 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Moses showed him the great miracle 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned his back, striving. 22 Then gathered he and summoned 23 then said: 'I am your lord, the most high' 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
