The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
