And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
