Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
