Al-Naml 7 of 7
On that Day We shall gather a crowd from every nation of those who belied Our verses, so they are gathered. 83 Until when they all come together, He will say, “Did you deny My signs whereas your knowledge had not reached it, or what were the deeds you were doing?” 84 The verdict will be given against them, because they did wrong, and they will be speechless. 85 Observe they not that We have appointed the night that they may repose therein, and the day sight-giving? Verily herein are signs unto a people who believe. 86 And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled. 87 And thou seest the hills thou deemest solid flying with the flight of clouds: the doing of Allah Who perfecteth all things. Lo! He is Informed of what ye do. 88 Whoever brings good, he shall have better than it; and they shall be secure from terror on the day. 89 But they who shall come with evil deeds - their faces will be thrust into the fire, [and they will be asked:] "Is this aught but a just requital for what you were doing [in life]?" 90 I am commanded only to worship the Lord of this city which He hath sanctified, and His is every thing - and I am commanded to be of the Muslims; 91 and to recite the Qur'an." So, whosoever is guided, his guidance will be to his own good. As for those who stray, tell them: "I am none but a warner." 92 Say: "All praise be to God. He will show you His signs, and you will recognise them. Your Lord is not heedless of what you do." 93

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
