And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
