No! By the moon 32 by the retreating night, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 about the sinners. 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As they were frightened asses 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
