Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
