Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said: My Lord! Lo! they have disobeyed me and followed one whose wealth and children increase him in naught save ruin; 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 inasmuch as they said [to their followers,] 'Do not ever abandon your gods: abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', and neither Yaghuth nor Ya'uq nor Nasr!' 23 They have misled many. So do not enable these evildoers to increase in anything except straying (from the Right Way).” 24 Because of their wrongs they were drowned, then made to enter fire, so they did not find any helpers besides Allah. 25 And Noah said, 'My Lord, leave not upon the earth of the unbelievers even one. 26 if You leave any, they will misguide Your servants, and they will beget none but sinners and deniers of truth -- 27 O Lord, forgive me, my parents, and any one who enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women, and do not give the evil-doers increase save in ruin. 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
