The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
