۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
