Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
