The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
