The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In outstretched columns. 9
