But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
