Nay, and by the moon, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
