The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
