The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
