۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
