Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 [coming upon thee] from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
