Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Say: 'It is revealed to me that a party of jinn listened then said: "We have indeed heard a wonderful Koran, 1 guiding towards consciousness of what is right; and so we have come to believe in it. And we shall never ascribe divinity to anyone beside our Sustainer, 2 our Lord is too exalted to have either a wife or son. 3 And [now we know] that the foolish among us have been saying outrageous things about God. 4 And lo! we had supposed that humankind and jinn would not speak a lie concerning Allah - 5 "Certain human beings sought refuge with certain jinn and this increased the rebelliousness of those jinn. 6 Those people thought, like you, that God would never send down a Messenger. 7 "'And [so it happened] that we reached out towards heaven: but we found it filled with mighty guards and flames, 8 'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. 9 And so we know not whether evil is intended for those in the earth, or whether their Lord intends for them rectitude. 10 'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths. 11 And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allah upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight. 12 When we heard the Guidance, we believed in it, and whosoever believes in his Lord shall fear neither shortage nor injustice. 13 'And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allah, after listening to this Quran), and of us some are Al-Qasitun (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)'. And whosoever has embraced Islam (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allah), then such have sought the Right Path." 14 However, the deviators from the Truth will be the fuel for hell". 15 If they had followed the right path, We would have provided them with abundant rain -- 16 "That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty. 17 and that “mosques belong to Allah, so do not invoke anyone with Him”; 18 "Yet when the Devotee of Allah stands forth to invoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd." 19
