And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
