The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure, 7 so that you [too, O men,] might never transgress the measure [of what is right]: 8 And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees with their dates in sheaths, 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 18 He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
