▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
