۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
