The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
