1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 and approach each other with questions, 27 They will say, "You used to come at us from the right." 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 We had no power over you. In fact, you were a people rebellious. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 Therefore we perverted you, and we ourselves were perverts.' 32 So, they will become partners in punishment. 33 Even so We do with the sinners; 34 Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty. 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 Not so, however, God's true servants: 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 On couches facing one another; 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 They advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 "(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 But for my Lord's blessing, I were one of the arraigned. 57 So, are we not going to die, 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 “This is, most certainly, the supreme success.” 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum (a horrible tree in Hell)? 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 Its produce is as it were the heads of the serpents. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 Verily they found their fathers gone astray. 69 So they in their footsteps are rushing. 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 though We had sent among them warners. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 EXCEPT for God's true servants, [most people are apt to go astray.] 74

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
