The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O the Cloaked One! (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) 1 Arise and warn, 2 proclaim the greatness of your Lord, 3 and purify your robes, 4 Pollution shun! 5 And do not favour others in order to receive more. 6 and be patient unto thy Lord. 7 For when the trumpet blows 8 that day will be a harsh day, 9 It will not be easy for those who deny the truth. 10 LEAVE Me alone [to deal] with him whom I have created alone, 11 And gave him abundant wealth 12 And gave him sons present before him. 13 and to whose life I gave so wide a scope: 14 Yet he desireth that I should give more. 15 No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. 16 We shall make him suffer the torment of hell without relief. 17 He planned and plotted. 18 So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 19 Again, death seize him, how he determined! 20 Then he looked around, 21 Then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 and said: 'This is no more than traced sorcery; 24 These are only words from a mere mortal". 25 I will cast him into the fire of Hell. 26 And what have you understood, what hell is! 27 It does not allow anyone to live, and neither does it leave anyone to die; 28 Burning the skins! 29 Over it are nineteen (angels as guardians and keepers of Hell). 30 And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity. 31
