And We verily sent Noah unto his folk, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? 23 Said the Council of the unbelievers of his people, 'This is naught but a mortal like yourselves, who desires to gain superiority over you. And if God willed, He would have sent down angels. We never heard of this among, our fathers, the ancients. 24 He is nothing else except a man who is mad, so watch him for awhile. 25 Submitted Nooh, “My Lord! Help me as they deny me.” 26 So We revealed to him, saying: Make the ark before Our eyes and (according to) Our revelation; and when Our command is given and the valley overflows, take into it of every kind a pair, two, and your followers, except those among them against whom the word has gone forth, and do not speak to Me in respect of those who are unjust; surely they shall be drowned. 27 And when you and all those with you are seated in the Ark, say: 'Praise be to Allah who has saved us from the harmdoing nation' 28 And say: O my Lord! cause me to disembark a blessed alighting, and Thou art the best to cause to alight. 29 Most surely there are signs in this, and most surely We are ever trying (men). 30 We brought another generation into existence after the people of Noah. 31 So We sent among them an apostle from among them, saying: Serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; will you not then guard (against evil)? 32
